The Stanford Storm welcomes the athletes from Homestead High School and surrounding schools to our Spring season.
Welcome to the Storm Family!
Was born and raised in Worcester Massachusetts and played field hockey for 3 years in Middle School and 4 years of Varsity High School Hockey. She also ran track in High School and was on the State Championship Relay Team 4X400. Over the years she has participated in many Triathlons, Marathons and Bike Centuries. She continues to run, bike and play hockey. She is a registered nurse with 25 years of training in critical care and a degree in nursing and public health. She has Advanced Cardiac Life Support, CPR and First Aid Certifications. She is a Certified Fitness Trainer, Level I USA Field Hockey Coach, NFHS Certified Coach. She is a member of the USA Field Hockey Association, National Field Hockey Coaches Association and the National Exercise and Sports Trainer Association. She is the Homestead High School Varsity Field Hockey Coach and received Coach of the Year in 2009 from the BVAL, Santa Teresa Division. She serves as Co-Captain in the Northern California Woman's Field Hockey League where she currently plays forward for the Irish. She is the proud mother of 4 children. Three of her children play hockey. "I believe field hockey is a great way to bring families, schools and communities together. Through the sport of hockey kids can develop confidence, leadership, health and wellness behaviors and team building skills.
