Brett Lytle has been involved in youth activities and sports for almost 20 years from a being a soccer referee for AYSO and CYA to serving on the Board of Directors of AYSO and still serving on the Mountain-View Los Altos High School Foundation. Brett has three children who have been playing Field Hockey for over eight years with one in college and two in High School both of whom are still playing field hockey. Brett is a practicing attorney in San Mateo at McDowall Cotter APC.
Tej Singh, MD, has been involved with youth sports in America for over 25 years. Tej grew up in Chicago and was an avid ice hockey player and street hockey player/organizer. In 1984, while a high school student in Chicago he attended the 1984 Summer Olympics and watched over 25 field hockey matches. Little did he know that 20 years later he would be coaching and organizing youth field hockey in California.
Tej has been instrumental in organizing and building youth field hockey in the Bay Area since 2001. He has coached the Bay Cool Cats, started the Stanford Lightning youth program, and in 2007 committed his efforts to the Stanford Storm Hockey program. Dr. Singh lives in Los Altos Hills with his wife and 3 sons and is the Chief of Vascular Surgery for the Palo Alto Medical Foundation Group. When not coaching field hockey, Tej is coaching or involved in Bay Area youth sports such as Pony baseball, AYSO Soccer, ice hockey, or street hockey for his 3 sons.
In 2011, Dr. Singh was elected to the Board of USA Field Hockey. This honor will allow him to concentrate his efforts for field hockey at the National level. With his new role, Dr. Singh will now be an advisor for the Storm club.
